PARENT/CAREGIVER NEWSLETTER...
Please find above the calendar for the month of February. We are looking forward to looking after your
children again this year & have some great things planned to keep them
busy. We welcome the new families to
FLOURISH & hope they enjoy being part of our big family.
As we are all aware, we have shifted to the Kaitaia Primary Whare Marino which can be easily
accessed at the top of Mission Place where there is plenty of car parks. We are thankful to the school for renting us
this great facility & hope to enjoy all it has to offer over this year.
We are starting van
pickups from some schools & other points around town. At the moment they are: Pompalier School,
Farrimond Place (opposite Intermediate), Abundant Life & Pukemiro. The exact times & locations will continue
to be ironed out as we go. Any concerns
or queries about this, please don’t hesitate to talk it over with Ruth.
Unfortunately due to staffing & facility restraints we
will no longer be able to offer one-one
tuition at FLOURISH but we will have an extra staff member (who is a
trained teacher) during homework time to help your child in this area. Please chat to Ruth about any specific areas
that your child would benefit from help with.
We will continue to send these newsletters out via email, so if you could please update your
contact details with us that we would be great, so you are kept informed with
what is happening.
Lastly, just a reminder at the beginning of the year, please contact us before 2:30pm any day
your child is enrolled that they are either sick or not able to come to
FLOURISH as this saves us phoning you & trying to find out if your child is
safe. Thanks in advance for your
attentiveness to this matter.
