Dear parents/caregivers
We have had a great term (only 3 more weeks until the end!)
with a huge range of fantastic activities
to keep your children busy after school.
Lots of yummy cooking has been completed and consumed – including
muffins, mini pizzas, choc mug cakes, pancakes & more. We have also been kept busy with craft such
as poi, pinecone animals, picture frames, cards, plus others. The children have also enjoyed our themes
& games. Photos of all of these
activities can be viewed on our Facebook page – like & follow us if you
haven’t already.
We are required to complete a parent survey at least once a year & so you will find attached
to this newsletter a feedback/survey form.
We thank you for your time in completing this & for your effort you
will be rewarded with a chocolate bar on completion of this survey. We do value your input & feedback &
appreciate your honesty in helping us to review our service.
Behind the scenes, this term we have had some long,
confusing & often frustrating delays with our WINZ subsidies. Some of this
is due to the nature of the system & the amount of paperwork they have to
process, and a few are due to human error or not completing or handing forms in
correctly! Every term if you have a
subsidy, WINZ will post you a Declaration Form (about 2 weeks towards the end
of the term) that needs to be bought to the centre to be signed & then returned
to WINZ BEFORE the holidays start.
This will speed up the processing of your subsidy for the following
term. As an incentive, we are offering a
chocolate bar to every person who completes this process (plus the enclosed
survey) and has their name ticked off on the list.
Your account
summaries for Term 2 will be handed out in the last week of the term. If you have any queries regarding payment
please ring or email Ruth. We appreciate
your prompt & consistent payment, thank you for being diligent in this
matter.
